The two big companies are in the foldable phone race. It’s a new thing in the mobile industry and people always want to buy something new. So people were really excited at the launch of these phones. Both of these phones are very costly, Samsung is going to charge $1,980 while Huawei has even higher rates at around $2,600. Both of these phones are available for pre-order now and for Samsung shipping will be till the end of this month, with the Huawei following by midyear. We can’t really say anything that which phone will win the race until we get a chance to review the phones.
But on the basis of what we have seen so far the comparison is as under:
Feature of both phones:
As we have already seen that Huawei phone is more expensive than the Samsung. Based on the features, first, we will discuss the RAM. The Samsung phone has 12 GB RAM while the Huawei has 8 GB RAM. Samsung wins in this category. Both phones have equal storage of about 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy fold is not expandable, but Huawei Mate X is expandable up to 256 GB. For this category, Huawei gains more points. Samsung offers a wide range of colors in Galaxy fold but Huawei Mate X has only one color that is interstellar blue. The folded screen size of Huawei phone is 6.6 inches while Samsung has 4.6 inches.

Display and Design:
Mate X has a sharper resolution than Galaxy fold. The two screens also offer a contrast when they are folded. The difference in their screens reflects how these phones have taken different approaches. In case of Mate X to get a larger screen you fold the front and rear displays into one another. The Galaxy fold opens like a book with 7.3-inch main display tucked inside while the 4.6-inch panel on the outer cover.
