AMD is latest Ryzen 3000 series of the processor has done a brilliant job at challenges Intel is a dominance of the desktop processor, it looks like intel is still king, with the best processor core i7 1065G7 mobile chip beating the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X in certain benchmarks.
Recently benchmark results leaked for Intel is 10 Generation ice lake i7-1065G7 processor, which is the best design for our laptop. The benchmark suggests that it will beat AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.
The interesting thing is that AMD Ryzen 9 3900X is a desktop processor which means it consumes more power (105W) VS the i7-1065G7 is consuming (15W) power and runs at higher frequencies.
The intel ice lake i7-1065G7 running in HP spectrum x360 laptop manages a single-core score of 5691. AMD is flagship Ryzen 9 3900X flagship scores slightly lower at 5624.

While that is not a huge difference, the fact that intel is new mobile processor appears to edge out AMD is the latest desktop flagship when it comes to single-core performance means AMD could struggle to produce mobile processor that rival intel.
Of course, when it comes to multi-core performance, the 12 core Ryzen 9 3900x handily beats the quad-core intel 17 1065G7 with a score of 45338 vs 17741.

In the end, we will decide Intel is still king but maybe in future AMB become a better processor then intel. With the core i7-1065G7 producing some excellent result considering it’s a mobile processor.
