Apple Updated the version of finding your lost devices App
We all already know about the application “Find my iPhone” by Apple. Apple is going to launch a new version of it that will make it easy to find your lost devices. According to a report of 9to5Mac, Apple is currently working on integrating the two applications, “Find my iPhone” and “Find my Friends”.

We all already know about the application “Find my iPhone” by Apple. Apple is going to launch a new version of it that will make it easy to find your lost devices. According to a report of 9to5Mac, Apple is currently working on integrating the two applications, “Find my iPhone” and “Find my Friends”. The functionalities of both of these applications will merge to create a new application, currently proceeding by a code name “GreenTorch”. This application will come to both iOS and macOS. The application is right now under the testing period and will be launched soon.
What’s new in it?
We are already well familiar with the working of “Find my iPhone”. But what makes this application stand out is the improved capability to find the user’s device. You don’t need any internet connection or cellular network for finding your lost Apple devices. Yes, you have heard right. Without any Wi-Fi, you can track the devices with a feature called Find Network in this application. Besides this, the application will make it easy to share your location. Aside from sharing location with your family, you can also share the location with any friend. Your friends can also create location sharing requests that they can send to you. When your friend has reached or left a location, then the user will get a notification with whom the location is being shared. It also gives a choice to the user to put their device on “Lost Mode” when they will use this feature it will enable them to play a sound same as “Find my iPhone”. It also declared that it can track all of the devices from a user including AirPods.

What else is coming?
Apple is also going to develop a hardware device known as “B389”. This device can track any device, not just the Apple items. It has a tag and your device is attached to the tag. If the user’s device gets too far away from the tag then the user will get the notifications. It will help to avoid the situation where a user can forget the device. It also has different options, to avoid being notified for the known locations you can simply add them to the list of ignored locations.
