Twitter allows users to schedule tweets. Till now, users use third party app to schedule tweets.

Now, Twitter has announced that the company allows users to schedule tweets from the main web app.

This feature was announced in Nov 2019.

It was announced via the official  Twitter support account on the platform. The users are able to save draft tweets in the web app. When a user is composing a tweet, a calendar icon will available on the bottom row of icons in the compose window. They are able to select the date and time for the specified tweet to go live.

The drafts saved on the web app will only sync to other instances of the web app exclusively. It means the draft written in Twitter’s mobile app will not sync to the web.

Twitter is working on making its platform private and secure. This feature was launched in an attempt to prevent users from giving third party applications access to their accounts.
