Xiaomi Unveils a Heated Jacket, Smart Heater, and Air Purifier

Xiaomi has been expanding its portfolio of fitness gear and lifestyle products. This time around, the company is launching winter-specific devices.
It includes Smartmi Electric Heater 1S with app control followed by a heated jacket and Mi Air Purifier 2C.
Smartmi Electric Heater 1S with App Control
The heater features a high-efficiency aluminum sheet heating body. It has a heat dissipation range of 4500 square centimeters. The company has used a dragon ridge arrangement to promote conductive airflow. The high power 2200W heater warms up the room fast. The temperature range can be adjusted between 16-28 °C.
It comes with a built-in dual temperature sensor and an automatic low-power operation. It helps to keep the temperature constant once the desired temperature is achieved. The Smartmi Electric Heater 1S has a Wi-Fi module on board as well. The device can be controlled using the MIJIA App or XiaoAI smart assistant.
The smart heater will be available by the end of this year for $70.
Xiaomi’s Heated Jacket
The company has launched this Cotton Smith-branded product for winters. This jacket will be able to keep the user warm even in temperature as low as -120°C.
The jacket comes with a 90% high-quality white goose down. It is warmer than duck down and supports 4-speed multi-zone smart temperature control. It can heat the jacket in as little as 1 second. Xiaomi recommends the 10000 mAh power bank that can keep the jacket warm for 7 hours.
The material used in the jacket has been subjected to level 3 anti-splash treatment. The jacket is ideal for rainy and snowy days.
The heated jacket is available for sale at the moment for $40.
Mi Air Purifier 2C
Mi Air Purifier 2C is the affordable version of the previously launched Mi Air Purifier 2S.
The air purifier requires 33W power for its active fan mode. The power usage drastically drops as soon as the device goes into hibernation mode. It comes in a tower-like shape with a white plastic body and a grey colored bottom and top. The high-speed fan that sucks the air in is housed at the top. The air then goes through a range of filters and comes out at the bottom.
The HEPA filter in the device can filter out 99.7 percent of indoor pollution. The device is capable of 360-degree suction it has a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 350 cubic meters per hour.
The air purifier has been launched in India and is available for INR 6,499 (Rs. 14,200).
