In the attempts of colonizing Mars, transport technology has a huge role to play. Automobiles and over ways of transportation are improving with each passing day. The embedding on latest technology into these facilities is also important. The future we see in movies where cars are flying and people are literally telepathy from one place to another isn’t very far away.
Fast trains the Hyperloop
The innovation in train travel is the incredible Hyperloop technology. The trains will travel at the speed of a jet plane. The iron tracks will no longer be needed. The new technology utilizes a magnetic effect to levitate and propel the capsule inside the tunnel. This futuristic tubular system that shoots pod-like capsules between destinations at speeds of more than 500 miles per hour. The plans are set to open in various countries including Dubai.
Driverless pods
One step ahead of the self-driving cars are the driverless pods. It is predicted that people will be able to own their own “cheap steel box” and control it themselves using a phone. The boxes will not have wheels, making them even cheaper. The technology of magnetic levitation will be used to propel them.
These pods will also be utilized as a cab service. The pods can be called at a required location just like any other taxi. And using a cell phone they can be guided to the destination through the path of choice.

Hypersonic Airplanes
Speed while riding in the air is also important. After ultrasonic, the fast traveling hypersonic planes will be available to travel by 2040. The expensive technology will make it difficult for the commoner to avail it but for a billionaire, it will be in reach. It is also predicted that to speed up the journey through the air windows will exclude from the planes. The illusion of windows will be passengers to avoid the fear of closed spaces. Augmented reality will take the place of the windows.
Flying Cars
After self-driving cars, flying cars will also be the future. People will finally get rid of the gridlocks and severe traffic jams. Various prototypes have been presented and introduced. The companies have not announced the exact date for the launch. But carriages that are able to float at some distance above the surface of the Earth will be available in a decade or two.
