Telenor Pakistan is successful in getting 5G platform by Nokia cloud RAN solution and controllers. Telenor has achieved its goal to transform Pakistan digitally. It has optimized the end customer experience. So, we can say that it has improved the total cost of ownership. It has quickly responded to opportunities that we can see getting big.
This means that it is technically the first time we will be having AirScale Base Station Controller (BSC) and AirScale Radio Network Controller (RNC) on AirFrame cloud infrastructure in Pakistan, and the first cloud-based BSC deployment in the Middle East and Africa region.
Telenor Pakistan is using Pakistan first 5G-ready cloud-based RAN platform and controllers. This was not possible without Nokia.
The Nokia solution decreases network problems and total cost for operation, this way it is allowing service providers to give us innovative services with low cost. Other benefit is that this will prepare the users to use 5G more efficiently.
