The era of technology has come a long since the beginning of the times. The gadgets are shrinking in size and there is more sophistication involved. The storage capacities and personalized requirements are kept in mind. The technology is not about what we need anymore. It is about the invention of a new latest gadget and the marketing of it till we think we need it. Below are some of the ways the technology has changed over time.

Storage devices

Look back into two and three decades we see floppy disks and the cd’s that used to store data. Today, the only actual representation of the floppy disk is the save icon. Over time, the devices got smaller and new technology and storage methods helped the storage of data in larger amounts. Today the 2 inches long USB or a thumb drive is available that allows the storage in a variety of ranges. Not to forget the difference in the storage of the first made USB and the latest one that can store the data up to 1TB.

Computer

The computer that was spread over the large surface area and performed the basic Math’s only has shrunk to your lap. The big-fat mainframe computers that performed the specific tasks only are smaller now. The modern computer is able to perform a variety of tasks. These tasks include communication, data entry, streaming, Internet surfing, designing, developing and marketing.

Today, the cell phone is a computer teemed with multiple apps capable of performing various functions for the users.

Cars

Last but not the least thing that has changed over time is cars. The slow running steam engines are now
replaced by fast engines and fast speed. With the trends, the technology is moving towards the solution
