In the smartphone industry, Sony is not available in the mounting competition and users are not taking it as important as other top brands, but still, it is available in the various markets. But now Sony is coming in the market with something new and different. Sony is going to launch a new phone Sony Xperia 1R, which could have a 5k display.
According to a Japanese leaked user agent profile, the Sony Xperia is going to launch a smartphone with the resolution of 5040×2160 pixels. The name is expected to Xperia 1R and the model number will be J8220. The size of the screen could be 6.5 inches and pixel density at 899ppi.

One more interesting is that 5k screen could be also worthwhile for VR based application. So, it’s a hope for Sony that this step will get more attention to the buyer and put the company in the competition.
