The Samsung Galaxy Buds were introduced on 20th February at the Unpacked event. As Apple’s most direct rival in the consumer hardware business, Samsung introduced the true wireless Galaxy Buds that will cost $129.99 or be bundled with preorders of the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus. True wireless earbuds are going to improve drastically in 2019, and Samsung is getting us started.
They are designed as an answer to Apple Airpods
These are Samsung’s wireless earphones. They are designed as an answer to Apple Airpods. These are cheaper than Airpods by a difference of 30 dollars and they also come with wireless charging capability. It is something that Apple’s technology do not have yet.
These earphones are bulkier than Airpods
These earphones are bulkier than Airpods. They sound good in terms of earphones and do not let the environmental noise rush in. It has USB-C Port which is even a better addition.
Additional battery life
They give you seven hours of additional battery life. It gives 6 hours of battery life on streaming music and 5 hours on talking.

Dual mic system
They however, do not contain noise canceling technology that you might find on fancier earphones. They do have a dual mic system, essentially when you’re trying to talk on the phone, it will move to an additional and different mic, so they can pick you up only your voice and not pick up other noises around you. This is super critical for wireless earphones, that’s what makes these phones extremely competitive.

Let’s see how Samsung competes and beats Apple’s Airpods in the market in due time, although we cannot say much on the price factor, but the noise picking feature can be a competitive edge for not only Apple Airpods, but for other brand companies as well.
