The Punjab Land Records Authority is planning to introduce a monitoring system for improving service delivery at the land record centers in Punjab province.

The Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar is applying efforts to maintain online land records to set aside ‘patwari culture’. The authorities are working to improve service delivery by developing an online monitoring system for land record centers across Punjab.

The authorities have assigned a task to monitoring teams college data regarding the working of these land record centers. The govt will  take steps to improve the mechanism based on the observation of these monitoring team.

The staff appointed at all land record centers will help provide relief to the public through the introduction of the land record management information system. CM Punjab has directed that this system should allow the depositing of dues at every land record center.

These centers are being established in government buildings permanently. The different projects will go underway of extending the scope of these record centers.

The Director-General of PLRA, Muhammad Aslam Rao claims that they have hired more staff for Arazi Record Center to expedite the process of issuing online record ownership.
