The presidency of Pakistan collaborated with the Huawei and the Chinese Embassy to establish 2 computer labs. These include printer scanners, desktop computers, multimedia projectors, UPS and furniture.

The principal of Mohsin Murtaza Shaheed Model School, Mr. Abdul Waheed opened the donation ceremony. The event of the theme was “Strengthening Digital Literacy, Enabling Bright Future”. He highlighting the need for imparting digital literacy in this era.

The chief guest, Begum Samina Alvi, emphasized the importance of digital literacy:
“This step amplifies the love of Chinese for Pakistani students. We are thankful for the support of Chinese entities. This gesture will be cherished and remembered. I hope the sponsors will continue to support the schools. ”

The spouse if the Chinese Ambassador, Lou Xinyu said:
“Pakistan and China are iron brothers. The friendship has no boundaries. China will continue to support the education sector of Pakistan. This step is just the beginning. Chinese company and Embassy will continue their efforts to help to improve the local people’s livelihood. ”

Deputy CEO of Huawei, Mr. Ahmed Bilal Masud highlighted the importance of connectivity in this era.

“Intelligence and data are changing the way of work. Data is becoming a new resource and intelligence is driving productivity. In the next ten years, Huawei is ready to solve application problems in data and intelligence convergence, lead data infrastructure innovation, develop intelligent data.”

The ceremony was made colorful by the artistic performance of young school students, which were the highlight of the function.
