New Social Network Build By Google
Here is a new window by google for you on a social network named Shoelace which claims to be supercharged in your social life. Basically, after shutting down Google+, the company realized that it’s taking a second shot at Facebook so this time they completely focusing on the events.
Unlikely other social networks it will not let the people connect world widely, Shoelace is region-based, which is started among a small number of people in New York for a trial.
This app just can be download if you have received an invitation code. Right now there is no sign of a web version though, and it is using a New York city’s domain because the company doesn’t seem to have registered domains for other cities.
Android Police says that’s it’s similar to the Schemer (another location-based social network) which was launched in 2011 and canned in 2014.
Here it is Shoelace to shake Facebook’s hold unlikely other social sites, but perhaps by working directly with specific communities but might google will be able to force its way into small niches.
Shoelace is an experimental project by google’s area 120 team, it might not go anywhere– not all of which see the light of day. Only time will tell.
