To tackle cases of child abduction and missing children, PM has directed authorities to launch an application called “Mera Bacha Alert”.
PM Office Media Wing said:
This app will be created in two weeks. It will be connected with Pakistan Citizen Portal. The progress in any case, including the recovery of the child, can be monitored.
First the registration of a missing child completed. The details will be provided to the provincial IG and other senior officers through it.

PM apprised the cabinet meeting of the success in the investigation of cases of child abuse. It will help reach other culprits of such heinous acts.
He said the government will take all possible measures to ensure the protection of innocent children and penalize those involved in such immoral crimes.
NGO Sahil has released the report that reported cases of child abuse increased by 11 percent in the year 2018 compared to 2017, with more than 10 children suffering some form of abuse every day in Pakistan last year.
