IT Ministry to Launch a Web Portal In Partnership With Finland University

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has a plan to launch a web portal. It will enable young IT experts their creative ideas.
This step is an initiative to invite youth to come forward with IT-related ideas through the web portal. It will create a bank of ideas for the development of this sector and country at large.
Almost 25,000 IT graduates complete education every year in the country.
But 5000-6000 graduates get job. It is due to gap between academia and industry.
Virtual University will offer IT-related courses through web portal.
The Ministry has finalized a Memorandum of Understanding with Finland University to make an international standard Virtual University.
The Ministry is mulling to establish IT Regulatory Authority on the pattern of PMDC. It will regulate education and introduce a standard for IT graduates and certificate holders.
Their construction of IT Park will soon be started.
