Google Maps Gets More Detailed With New Update

Google Maps has evolved over the past 15 years to become what is now. A champion for daily exploration or commuting with a plethora of features. These features included popular times, detailed real-time navigation, offline maps, and more.
Now, Google Maps plans to bring more details to the app. There are more accurate maps for sidewalks, roads, streets, and buildings. These visual improvements help people better understand what an area looks like.
Google has used a color mapping algorithm to make a vibrant, comprehensive map of an area on a global scale. People can easily distinguish between deserts, beaches, rivers, urban areas, etc on a map.
According to Google, we will soon be able to see detailed information. It will show the accurate dimensions of roads. We will see the exact positions of crosswalks, sidewalks. It will also show crucial information for accessibility needs such as stroller or wheelchairs requirements.
Google is rolling out detailed maps and colors to New York, London, and San Fransisco in the coming weeks. It plans to eventually expand worldwide.
