Now, this program is only available in North America. It will be expanded to other markets in Asia and Europe soon. Although, for now out of warranty repairs are consigned to small issues like a crack in the camera lenses, an issue with the front or back glass panels. It is a huge milestone for Apple users.
Now they will have more shops from which they can get the repair done.
This program is free for any independent business that is hoping to apply. When it is available online, they will be granted access to the tool and training. The business will have access to the same certified Apple parts as the official re-sellers at the same price.
